What do I do about an over-the-top boyfriend?!?
I’m almost 14, and two days ago a skater boy asked me to be his girlfriend. I was so thrilled, I really like him. We have known each other in school for about two years, so I kinda know him. Today he called me and gave me some big news. He bought me an Enjoi skateboard plus new trucks and wheels. I have a $30 Kryptonics board that I like to skate around on for fun, but I’m not a serious skater. So he spent over $100 ( he is sponsored so he gets a discount) on me and doesn’t want me to pay him back! He says it’s part
of the process of teaching me to skate. I think that is way too extravagant for only two days of dating! I feel SO guilty, but I don’t want to offend him! What should I do??!?
