What do i need for my deck to make a complete skateboard?
I bought a deck at zumiez but I wana make it complete so wut do I need? And does the brand have to be the same?

Nope, the brand does not have to be the same. It can be completely customized, but it has to be according to its size. Measure your deck from zumiez, sizes of decks are usually from 7.5-8.0 inches.
if its around 7.75, which is the standard size, you would get 5.0 size trucks. But first, here is the list of things you’ll need.
To have a complete skateboard, you’ll need:
1. A Deck (but u already have and know lol)
2. A pair of trucks
3. Four wheels
4. Bearings
5. Hardware
6. Risers/shock pads (optional)

1. For a deck, I recommend Plan B, Baker, Deathwish, Enjoi, DGK, there’s wide range of decks you could choose from. If you’re a beginner, you might want to start with Plan B.
2. For trucks, I highly recommend Ventures or Independent for beginners. When you start getting more advanced with tricks, get Tensors.
3. Bones Wheels are THE best wheels. They are your first choice either beginner or advanced. A wheel that comes close to Bone’s perfection are Pig’s wheels.
4. Bearings are the little circles inside the wheel. For beginners, they are usually overlooked. They either think you don’t need good bearings because they’re not a big deal, like a deck. Well they are a huge deal, because they say how fast your skateboard is going to go. I recommend Bones Reds(same company as the wheels) for bearings. They should be around $15, but I saw them go for $5.40 on Amazon.com, which is really cheap for bones.
5. Hardware, like bearings, are overlooked. The better the hardware, the more secure you will feel on your board. Plus you might want to get colored hardware, so you could tell your nose from your tail. I recommend Shorty’s Hardware or Baker hardware.
6. Risers are placed in between your trucks an your deck, to rise the board, so your deck doesn’t get wheel bite(where you turn, and your wheels[while spinning] touch your deck and scratch it). Shock pads have a different purpose. They are put the exact same place as a riser, but it isn’t put there to raise the board. Its there to prevent your board from cracks when you land from a trick. It softens and cushions your land when you land.
All that would cost less than $200, but mostly under $130 if you’re not getting ripped off.
