What is the best color laser printer for graphic design?

I have an invitations and announcements business and need an affordable printer that can produce high quality graphics and text on a variety of papers (vellum, cardstock, etc). Speed is not as important as quality, the text needs to be impeccable and the resolution has to be on point. I’ve previously used a HP inkjet and like the vivid colors they produce but have experienced smudging on my metallic coated papers. I was looking at the Brothers brand because of their high resolution but am still unsure because of toner prices. Anyone have any good recommendations, keeping in mind affordability?

To avoid this fallacy, Price argues, we need to overcome our natural tendency to think about the past and the future differently. We need to imagine a point outside time — an Archimedean view from nowhen — from which to observe time in an unbiased way.
